Each term in weeks 5 and 10 (11) students who have not been entered into the Sentral System for any negative incidents (Minor OR Major) are eligible to receive a Zero Hero certificate. This certificate is equal to 10 Personal Bests stickers and must be recorded in each child's passport and the teacher's tracking folder.
Additional conditions:
Each student MUST have attended school for 20 Full Days out of the 25 day period or 25 FULL Days if the eligibility period goes over 30 days (6 weeks).
This will ensure we have consistency with students who:
- have frequent absences/long periods of absences (including suspensions) Students on school business do not count as absent
- are new to our school
- miss many periods of the day due to early pick up/late arrival.
The classroom teacher will be responsible for determining these factors after they have received the Zero Hero date.
These conditions will be effective from Tuesday 24th May 2016.
